Our Nor'star/Westerly built Flicka was originally christened Sea Shanty by Clyde and Niki Butcher. "With great celebration she was launched on February 8, 1977 at 11 a.m. and christened Sea Shanty.

After my shipmate and I purchased Sea Shanty from her second owner and started the rebuilding process, we wanted a name which reflected our thoughts and feeling.
