The purpose of Flickabase is to collect data of all Flickas currently roaming the seas. This data will replace all the pages from the old Flicka sailboat web site such as names, hull numbers and passages. Each Flicka sailboat will have it's own database entry where all the details of the boat are stored.
It is a big task, but once complete,the database should save a lot of time for those searching for information about all aspects of the Flicka sailboat and for those maintaining the data.
If you take the trouble to get your Flicka sailboat into the system with as complete a data set as possible then if you come to sell your Flicka the Web Captain only has to change a status flag in Flickabase for the boat to be listed on the Flickas For Sale page.
