Hey PaulWell done on getting set up with a blog! Pics are great. Interesting to see one of the Flickas with the full port bulkhead. This is the first time I've seen a decent picture of one.You certainly have your work cut out there! Flicka's are poorly ventilated and tend to mold up when left shut for more than a few weeks. I fitted a venting fwd hatch on Caraway but she still gets moldy over the winter.All that teak will come up fine. If you can be bothered you can clean it gently with some teak cleaner, wash it and sand very lightly afterwards. Then apply many coats of fresh teak oil to bring her back to life. Old teak oil goes very dark and will have gathered a lot of dirt.It's a labour of love but you will enjoy the rewards and hey, looks like you have a family to help you!

Incidentally, I changed a setting on the blog to allow anonymous comments. I see also you have managed to link in the images from another site. This is fine and saves space and of course enables you to utilise other server tools. If you do want to upload pictures to the Flicka 20 server it should be possible, just make sure you stick them in the BLOG directory. I intend to go over this process and write up some help file on the subject.

Hey! This is cool! That boat (Mable) is in my back yard right now. And she is an awesome boat, and really beautiful or more. I was one of the first to see her at the GSL (Great Salt Lake) and despite her condishion like the moter wouldn't work, dead brine flies, and three foot mudd dopper nests, the boat defenitly has a personality, and I think it's a good one I hope you think so too so coment about Mable and tell us what you think of about her.
