In January of 2006, the Flicka Home Page was moved to a server with a domain name. This replaced a web page posted as part of a personal account with very little room left to grow.
The move are made for a variety of reasons:
Shorter web page address
Increase storage space from 20 MB to 1 GB
Domain Name: www.flicka20.com
Lower cost ($65.00 / Year)
Improved web page management
20 GB Monthly Bandwidth
The move has been successful and I'm looking forward for another year managing the Flicka Home Page.
