OEM tillers for Flickas are made by H&L Marine Woodworking in Rancho Dominguez, CA. They can be ordered by your local West Marine store, or you may be able to order direct. I E-mailed Hal when this site was full, and he got the part # and price, which are #1266 and $54.
The butt is square so you will need to round the bottom corner, drill the hole, sand the sides to fit in the cheeks, and touch up the varnish (Interlux polyurethane). This doesn't take that long. Although the tiller may sound expensive, it's the right one for the boat, and already finished.
