Gentleman Bill Crealock dies at 89

Sad news, Bill Crealock died recently. But I only just found out about it.
I've sailed many times on my friends Dana and I've read countless stories about his other yachts. I can honestly say the Dana is a very special boat indeed. Having read Bill's obituary I was surprised to hear he was born in England in Westcliffe on Sea a little town along the coast from where I grew up and a town which once had a great camera shop. I made a pilgrimage there in the 90's and bought my first Leica M. A lovely old M2 built in 1957. I carried this Leica with me for years and sailed with it on Caraway and many other boats.
The Crealock legacy will live on with the new Pacific Seacraft. Thank you Bill for your boats and your inspiration.
